HOWARD DEAN'S BIG GAMBLE
Citing Nevada's ethnic diversity and economic growth, Democratic National Party President Howard Dean moved that state's caucus into pole position just after Iowa's primary. Yet it is an unusual place to entrust the candidacy: the legal gambling and prositiution, the gluttony of its largest city and the desolation of the it's hinterlands.
