The Highwaymen: The Highwaymen were a group of African-American artists in the ’60s and ’70s who sold idyllic paintings by the roadside of Florida’s Route 1. Back then, they nearly saturated the market with their pictures, but today their work is sought after by the likes of Steven Spielberg and Michelle Obama.

The Dance of Life: The Kitchen: This is a story about finding beauty in the ordinary, in this case the rhythms of a professional kitchen. The creative subject matter inspired an innovative presentation that brings readers into the restaurant and illustrates the deceptively simple dance between chefs and servers through time-lapse photography, music and audio interviews.

Occupy DC panoramas: Postcards from Occupy D.C. was created over the course of six weeks to give a behind-the-scenes view of life in the Occupy encampment at McPherson Square Park. Through panoramic photography, interviews and text, viewers go inside the tents and meet the protestors who braved months living outside to stand up for economic equality.

Thinking Outside The Circle: Exploring the “Song1” Exhibit: Informative graphics and thorough reporting help viewers understand how artist Doug Aitken pulled off screening a 360-degree film on the cylindrical facade of the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington, D.C. A documentary video of the exhibit, complete with an interview of the artist, brings the whole multimedia exhibition to life.
