Ramon spent nine years in the US Air Force where she endured sexual assault at the hands of her training instructor. She suffers from Military Sexual Trauma and has been homeless off and on since her discharge. While Melissa has sought help for permanent housing from the Veteran's Administration and Los Angeles County social services, she has only been offered a bed in a homeless shelter in a neighboring county.

Yet the rural commune is also a place for its 350 members-many of whom are gay or gender queer-to live their lives openly and without compromise.

The ghosts of America’s atomic arsenal are a visible reminder of America’s nuclear history’ time when the threat of doomsday was a part of the national landscape.

The Fur Trappers of Modern America: The American Mountain Man Assoc. is a group of men & women who enjoy re-living the life of the 1820s fur trappers of the American West. They tan hides, shoot their flintlock rifles, trap beaver (as their 19th century heroes did) and have learned to live off the land. Most have other jobs, but weekends will find them in their buckskins, ready to live again the call of the American West.

The KIng Lives: Elvis tribute artists or ETA's came from near and far to take part in the Ocean City Elvis Festival at the Clarion Resort Fontainebleau Hotel in Ocean City, MD. Fans packed the three-day event that included a contest and nightly performances.
